Cupertino :

Later this year, Apple is expected to introduce its latest iPhone 15 series, with September being the usual launch month for most of the previous iPhone generations. However, the launch of the iPhone 12 was delayed until October due to disruptions caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

The upcoming iPhone 15 series is expected to follow the usual timeline and be released in 2023.

Although the launch event is still a long way off, leaks have provided some insight into what to expect from the iPhone 15.

The standard model is rumored to include the Dynamic Island feature, which will be a significant upgrade since the launch of the iPhone X.

Additionally, the inclusion of a USB Type C port is expected, marking a significant change.

The regular model is also expected to have a slightly larger 6.2-inch screen than the iPhone 14.

Here is everything we currently know about the upcoming iPhone 15 series.

iPhone15 Processor

It is expected that Apple will continue its recent approach of providing older flagship chips with standard iPhone models.

It is also expected that company will reserve the new A17 Bionic SoC for the high-end Pro models.

As with the iPhone 14 series, it is possible that the iPhone 15 will be powered by the A16 Bionic chip from the previous year.

iPhone15 Fast Charging

There is currently no information available regarding the battery or fast charging capabilities of the iPhone 15.

Apple has made minimal changes in these areas for the iPhone 14 and some of its earlier models.

However, with Android phones now supporting charging speeds of up to 240W, it is crucial for Apple to offer faster charging options.

Realme claims that its 240W charger can charge the battery from zero to 50% in just four minutes, a feature that iPhone users may be eagerly awaiting.

Additionally, neither Apple nor Samsung include a charger in the box, which is unfortunate.

iPhone15 Camera

Rumors suggest that the iPhone 15 will feature a 48-megapixel wide camera, similar to the Pro models of the iPhone 14 series, which would be a significant improvement over the existing 12-megapixel sensors on current iPhone models.

However, the telephoto lens for optical zoom and the LiDAR are expected to remain exclusive to the higher-end models, and the standard model of the iPhone 15 series may feature three cameras at the back instead of the dual camera setup seen on older regular models.

It is essential to note that all the details mentioned above are not officially confirmed by Apple and are based on leaks from reliable sources.
