Mahindra & Mahindra registered total sales of 30,358 units in February 2023 against 27,663 units in the same month last year. It recorded a YoY 10 percent growth.

The carmaker managed to retail 30,221 units of Utility Vehicles, despite supply chain disruptions.

Here’re monthly sales figures and key details of the 4 top selling Mahindra SUVs.

Mahindra Bolero

Mahindra Bolero was the top selling Mahindra SUV in February 2023.

The home-grown automaker retailed total of 9,782 units of the SUV against 11,045 units in the corresponding month previous year.

That means, its sales declined by 11 percent. While the Bolero comes with a 75bhp, 1.5L diesel engine, the Bolero Neo uses a 100bhp, 1.5L diesel motor.

The carmaker will soon roll out the Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus with 7 and 9-seats configurations in the country.

Mahindra Scorpio

Last month, Mahindra sold 6,950 units of the Scorpio SUV (including the Scorpio N and Scorpio Classic).

Compared to the same month last year when it recorded sales of 2,610 units, the Scorpio registered a massive 166 percent growth.

The Mahindra Scorpio N is currently available with a 2023bhp, 2.0L turbo petrol and 132bhp/175bhp, 2.2L diesel engine options.

The Scorpio Classic, on the other hand, is powered by a 132bhp, 2.2L turbo diesel engine paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox.

Mahindra Thar

With sales of 5,004 units, the Mahindra Thar became the third top selling Mahindra SUV in February 2023.

However, its sales declined by 1 percent when compared to the February 2022.

Under the hood, the Thar houses a 2.0L, 4-cylinder turbo petrol and a 2.2L, 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine.

Mahindra XUV700

The home-grown automaker retailed 4,505 units of the XUV700 as opposed to 4,138 units in February 2022.

It registered a YoY sales growth of 9 percent. For power, the Mahindra XUV700 uses the 200bhp, 2.0L turbo petrol and 155bhp/185bhp, 2.2L turbo diesel engine options.
